Our product, WARP.drive can turn any sub-car vehicle into a fully autonmous mobile robot which can drive safely in unstructured environments. Indoords and outdoors, in the park or convention center on a campus or a fair.
Our software turns data from sensors such as Laser, camera and GPS into commands for the motors.

Sophisticated navigation capabilities are essential for autonomous driving. To get the most out of it, our path planning is powered by a combination of long-established algorithms like A* and RRT as well as innovative approaches from the field of Reinforcement Learning. Our global planner is able to incorporate various vehicle kinematics to find the best route for each vehicle. The local planner on the other hand makes sure to circumnavigate any dynamic obstacles. Here, our focus is on socially compliant behavior as our system will often run in crowded areas. Moreover, redundant components guarantee safe and reliable operation.

SLAM (Simultaneous Localization And Mapping) is a process designed to determine the position of a vehicle in its environment. With WARP-SLAM we are creating our own precise, robust, and fast solution. Our goal is to provide very accurate maps and data to fuel our autonomous driving pipeline. Our SLAM is tailored to the sensors used on WARP.drive powered vehicles.
